Join Nan Carmack, Director of the Campbell County Public Library System, to learn some simple and effective techniques for managing time, content and people within your meetings. Having participated in more meetings than is really advisable, Carmack has created a list of tips for survival and success. Once implemented, people can leave your meetings by saying “Now THAT’S a meeting!”
Carmack consults privately, and teaches as an adjunct for Lyrasis, in addition to her library work. An experienced web-based instructor, Carmack is committed to fun, participative and fast-paced web-based experiences
*VLA LDF/NMRT webinars are held for continuing leadership and management education purposes as well as serve as a fundraiser for the 2014 Virginia Library Leadership Academy and VLA NMRT conference activities. Due to the fundraising nature of this enterprise, refunds of the registration fee will not be made. We do encourage you to gather your colleagues and view the webinar together to get the most bang for your buck.
